KSA advocates on behalf of students with educational and emotional needs by participating at school conferences, CAP Meetings, IEP Meetings, and Due Process hearings. Teachers, tutors and other support service providers are given specific recommendations for educational, behavioral and social-emotional planning and management. We meet with older students individually to explain our findings and recommendations so they can begin the process of self-advocacy.
Our highly experienced staff members have worked in the education community as licensed therapists, teachers and program administrators for decades. We have established effective working relationships that can help you or your child get the personal attention that is needed. School personnel often call us informally to discuss a student’s needs. We pride ourselves on being seen as a welcome team player among professionals in the community.
